Each year we raise a small troop of pigs here in the woods of Wingate, providing us with plenty of entertainment for the summer. We believe in providing our livestock with the highest possibly quality of life, which is why our hogs are raised outside, in the fresh air and sunshine, where they can root, rustle, and mud-bathe to their liking. This translates to the quality of meat, which is incomparable to pork raised on a factory farm shot full of antibiotics. Our pigs are given certified organic non-GMO grain, plus a buffet of veggie scraps, seconds eggs, and the tasty morsels foraged in their woodland enclosure.
We sell retail cuts of pork at the Amherst Winter Farmers Market all winter and spring. Please email us if you are interested in purchasing larger quantities at a time.
